Pinot Noir

Pinot Noir is one of the oldest red grape varieties grown around the world and is highly successful in the Burgundy region of France, particularly in the Cote d'Or. It is one of the most difficult wines to grow and ferment, and frequently requires a cooler climate to be successful. The wine tends to be of light to medium body, with flavors and aromas of black cherry, rasberry, or currant. Pinot Noir from Paso Robles tends to be presented in a more fruit-forward, bolder style.
