Alicante Bouschet

Alicante Bouschet is a wine grape variety that has been planted since the late 1800's. It is a cross of Grenache with Petit Bouschet and is used primarily in blends.  Alicante Bouschet one of the only grapes with red flesh and can help give wines a deep dark color (other grapes get their red color only from the skin).
