Immediately approachable in its youthful exuberance, this Chardonnay conjures up sea shell and vanilla bean aromatics, yet delivers expansive texture in its rich mouthfilling viscosity, finishing with a complex mix of lime zest, crisp apple fruit and flinty minerality.

69% Syrah, 21% Grenache, 10% Petite Sirah

Bright fruit flavors and aromas. Dark fruits followed by a hint of the tropics. Herbs and spice are plentiful along with some floral/violet highlights. A wine everyone is sure to enjoy.

95% Syrah, 5% Viognier. This burly wine exhibits the hallmark characters of cooler climate Syrah: black, earthy berry characters buttressed by smoke, pepper, tar, and spice elements on the nose. These characters are echoed on the big, spicy, tannic palate and persistent finish. This is a gnarly wine to be enjoyed now with grilled meat and game or aged up to a decade

100% Syrah

The Syrah planting, at 14 acres, is one of the largest blocks on the property and covers a variety of aspects and soil depths. As a result, the grapes were harvested over five picks spanning roughly two weeks. The 06 “Jersey Girl” is a selection of barrels from each of these picks designed to offer up subtle nuances and add to the overall intrigue of the wine.

From Bootjack Ranch vineyard. This wine begins ruby-red in the glass with perfumed, floral aromas that are accentuated by bits of cedar and sandalwood. Big fruit flavors of dark cherry and plum are mixed with mocha and a slightly earthy mint character. The acidity is juicy and mouthwatering, making this a fabulous wine with many foods. 93% Barbera 7% Sangiovese

The Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is driven by red fruit flavors (cherry and plum), complemented with dusty oak, coffee, and slight green olive nuances. It’s rich and soft in the mouth, with a toasty, dry finish of fine, dusty tannins.

The wine is a poetry of exotic perfume and salivating fine tannins leading to a core of pure black berry flavors. First impressions of chaparral, mesquite and sage move into the realm of first flush Darjeeling tea, followed by a fine grip of cherry skins, hints of rose petals finishing with layers of Thai and subtle Cajun spice. A few moments of aeration will reward the impatient imbiber. Drink now or cellar up to 2014.
 

A rich, concentrated wine with a long palate and complexity in the mouth. Bodegas M 2006 Tempranillo was harvested from the Booker Vineyard.

Robert Parker notes, "The 2006 Optimus Proprietary Red, a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Syrah, and 5% Petit Verdot, performed slightly better than it did last year. Reminiscent of a northern Rhone blended with a Bordeaux, it exhibits sweet cassis, graphite, and a chalky, powdery minerality, good structure, and full body. As the wine sits in the glass, hints of espresso roast and white chocolate emerge. This structured, slightly backward, well-endowed 2006 should age effortlessly for 10-15 years. One of the reference point producers in Paso Robles, Frenchman Stephan Asseo continues to turn out an intriguing as well as provocative range of brilliant red wines."

This 2007 Petite Sirah, grown on the family estate in Paso Robles, reveals deep ruby-purple hues, a touch of blackberry and black cherry aromas, with hints of violet and spice. It is well balanced with a firm structure. Enjoy the lingering finish and hint of smoky oak.

A blend of 39% Grenache Blanc, 36% Viognier, 20% Roussanne, 5% Marsanne with all the fruit coming from the Paso Robles appellation. Straw gold/brass in color, with a seductive nose dominated by floral scents of jasmine, gardenia, and lily, with white peach, macadamia, honeyed lemon zest and mineral notes, supported by secondary hints of honeycomb, licorice, smoky-sweet bacon fat and melon. Both weighty and silky in the mouth, flavors of candied lemon, melon, marzipan, melon and oyster shell mingle with notes sweet apple, slate and a hint of petrol. The wine possesses a crisp, sparkling acidity that carries its weight and shifting kaleidoscope of flavors into the long finish.

Paso Melange is Roxo's Metodo Portugues (Port) interpretation of a traditional Bordeaux blend. Characteristic ripe cherry and blackberry aromas layer with hints of caramel and coffee. The plot thickens with a finish of subtle smokiness and butterscotch. Blend includes 56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Cabernet Franc, 11% Petit Verdot.

Like many traditional Ports, Touriga Nacional is the foundation of this wine. Blackish-purple in color, this grape provides flavors of earth and spice. Souzao, also deeply pigmented, pulls ripe, dark fruit aromas from the glass. In the mouth, the ripe, spicy fruit evolves to anise and clove with a rich mid palate. Tinta Roriz brightens the intensity with red fruit flavors and a well-balanced acidic backbone. Finally, the Bastardo completes this blend offering a prolonged finish of white pepper and exotic spice. A blend of 45% Touriga Nacional, 26% Souzao, 26% Tinta Roriz, and 3% Bastardo.

This lovely Grenache has the aromas of chalky limestone and spicy cedar, sweet cherries and juicy red berries . The flavors are a close parallel to the aromas. This is an elegant medium body wine that displays a beautiful, lingering finish which expands as the wine airs to included notes of floral spice . 90% Grenache, 10% Syrah.

The merge of red and black fruit pleases the nose, with the delicate wrapping of French and American oak sweetness. The palate offers concentrated and firm black fruit flavors, a touch of mocha, and a great long finish that will surround all protein with pleasure.
